前阵子有个朋友跟我抱怨：Gentoo使用genkernel来进行内核编译无法通过，说是没有initrd文件阿。
由于我以前都是手动编译内核，所以不清楚是怎么回事。
昨天晚上，在笔记本上安装的时候，因为忙于看CSI,就偷懒用genkernel，编译完成确实没有initrd。
手册上这部分是有笔误的。

Code listing 18: Checking the created kernel image name and initrd
# ls /boot/kernel* /boot/initrd*

使用genkernel编译，应该产生的是initramfs-genkernel-x86-2.6.12-gentoo-r6 类似于这样的文件。
在grub.conf配置时，指明就可以了。
